What is time and does it really matter? We all create our
schedules based on what we have to do, what we want to do, and what
we want to accomplish. Then life happens, and then the time we
planned on using for things we wanted or needed to do just seems to
disappear. How come when we are young, time just cannot seem to
pass by quickly enough? Then when we are older, time just flies by
and we cannot seem to catch up. It's not fair. I cannot understand
why the concept of time seems to change as I age. I'm still very
active and competent, and I don't think I've slowed down that much.
Yet time becomes more and more elusive. Yet according to my
Catholic faith, time will be eternal and infinite once I pass from
this earthly life. I cannot fathom what that means. Maybe some day
I'll understand? Maybe some day I'll catch on my "to do" list?
Maybe???
